Fossil Fuelled Power Plants
PPG PMC has a long and successful track record of solving corrosion problems in fossil fuelled power plants.
Our systems include epoxies with outstanding chemical resistance, systems that can cope with high temperatures and systems that can handle ash abrasion. Fast and efficient application is also important and the SigmaFast range is designed specifically for this.
If a specifier needs a zinc silicate primer, it is available (SigmaFast 302, ACQPA approved) and it can be overcoated 25 minutes after application, but if a fast single-coat system is needed there is the polyurethane SigmaFast 210 - dry to handle in 30 minutes and combining good corrosion resistance with colour and gloss retention.
